Blog Clip 6! Offcuts and trimmings from the last few weeks.

Right, you slugs, yeah yeah you knew it was coming, the inevitable extension… again! To me as a skateboarder the changing of the clocks is perhaps the most significant part of the year. In this case because it represents the last true breath of summer skating. The nights are dr…awing in, the temperature’s gonna dip and the woolly hats and gloves are coming out. Sucks for filming and bloody hurts when you slam basically so what better time to end it!

So here it is, the final, ultimate, terminal deadline: 31st October. (2010) You gotta whole winter of Unit to look forward to, so get jumping! x

Popnow skateshop hosted a little jam up at Unit1 skatepark with prizes from the shop, Analog and Gravis. Good times! Filmed by myself and Mikey McInally

Street and Park from the last week:  Adam ‘Skid’ King and Dan ‘doesn’t skate for years but is still better than everyone’ Grant mark their premiere appearance on the blog! Good to see the old Maidstone doggers back and killing it!

Borough Green skate park makes an appearance in the second half of this off-cut edit. Sketchy little park but it’s great to just skate a few obstacles that aren’t Dust Bowl block. See you all down there for another session soon!

Footage wise the video is still slugging along and becoming scarily finishable. A few bits here and there for the next few weeks and we’ll be nicely sorted. Keep it coming!
